A native of Los Angeles Tay grew up in Compton where she began dabbling in music. Rapping and singing since the age of
five Tay would perform songs for family and friends. Tay’s artistic side can be attributed to her brothers who played
guitar and encouraged her to sing and dance. As the only white girl in an all black choir in Compton, Tay’s talent was
being showcased at an early age. With a sound wise beyond her years Tay was able to deliver soulful renditions of traditional
gospel songs that moved congregants to tears. Influenced by '70s soul singers such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Chaka
Khan and '80s hip-hop Tay began to develop her own style of blue-eyed neo soul. The way she see's it, she's a musical actor
telling a story, with notes and lyrics. You had to see her to believe her, if you needed a shot of old school soul power.
Tay brought back ‘70s soul, touring and performing riveting set’s of 1970s classics, recorded and performed covers
of Diana Ross "Love Hangover”, “Pillow talk”, and Prince “Be your Lover”, she has formed Perl
Records label, and has teamed up, and collaborated with many different producers. An artist thats dedicated to her music,
this beauty is the latest multi-talented scene stealer nudging her way to center stage, with attention-grabbing vocals, irresistible
songwriting, killer dance moves, and the blood of a true performer running through her veins, this neo-soul gem is ready to
