Taking the Gospel to the Streets

Jones released his first album, 20 Years 3 Months 12 Days, in 2002. He collaborated with Lil iROCC Williams on Williams's 2004 debut album, and wrote and performed a song, "You and Me", for the compilation Holy Hip-Hop:Taking the Gospel to the Streets. Jones's second album, The Password, was released independently in 2004; soon after, Jones signed to EMI and released his major label debut, Love Jones, in the summer of 2005.[1] Jones toured the US with over 200 appearances in 2005, and following the success of Love Jones, The Password was re-released nationally at the end of 2005.[1] He was nominated for two Grammy Awards for The Password in 2005.[1] His album, Kingdom Business, was released on February 5th, 2008.
